what is better an Osteopath doctor or a Pathology doctor?

i have a PPO insurance plan and am looking for a good doctor but, want to make sure i get a good doctor.. what is better a doctor who does general practice and Osteopath or a family practice Pathology doctor? this is for myself only not for my whole family. i want to know the diferences and pros and cons please. what do you recomend?

    I think you don’t have your terminology straight. Pathologists do not see patients in offices for general medical reasons. Pediatricians, general practice, family practice and internal medicine physicians see the bulk of patients in their offices. Osteopathic physicians are, for the most part, interchangeable with allopathic (or regular) physicians.

    There are Osteopathic doctors and Medical doctors. The best way to find out how good a doctor is, would be to get his credentials and internship history. At the point where they perform private practice, D.O.’s and M.D.’s have had such similiar experience that they are interchangeable… on paper. Meet them in person and see who you are more comfortable with.
